Company History

The founding of the company took place on 22 November 1996. Its business objective is the holding of small and medium-sized investments. The year of 2007 saw the changing of the company's name from the Eduard Hueck KG to the Hueck Industrie Holding KG.

The Hueck Industrie Holding KG is a medium-sized group boasting a high degree of diversification and an absolutely international orientation.
This management company, with its efficient lean structure, has its headquarters located in Lippstadt, Germany where it successfully controls more than ten business enterprises, which between them generate a turnover of a good 200 million Euros and provide employment for approximately 1,000 members of staff. In some of these companies, the Hueck Industrie Holding KG has a majority stake, in others it is present with only a low amount of shares.

The holding has a 100 % stake in the Eduard Hueck GmbH & Co. KG, the head office of which can be found in Lüdenscheid, Germany. And it is this company that personifies the true beginnings of the entrepreneurial activities of the Hueck dynasty.
The founding of the company known as Eduard Hueck GmbH & Co. KG goes back as far as 1814 when it started life as a factory producing various kinds of buttons and handling goods of iron, steel and brass. After the First World War the company moved into the field of aluminium production.

In addition to this interest, shares are also held either directly or via intermediate holding companies in the following operational companies:

• Bremer Werk für Montagesysteme GmbH (bwm), Bremen(Assembly Systems)
• Handke Industrietechnik Handels-GmbH, Garbsen (Industrial Engineering)
• SSB-Maschinenbau GmbH, Bielefeld (Mechanical Engineering)
• Text Team GmbH & Co. KG, Rastede (Media Company & Printers)
• Hueck Folien Ges.m.b.H, Baumgartenberg / Austria (Foils)
• Kunststoffwerk Voerde Hueck & Schade GmbH&Co. KG, Ennepetal (Plastics)

Our sister company, the O.E. Hueck GmbH, based in Lippstadt, Germany, is also involved in the companies of Hueck Folien Ges.m.b.H and Kunststoffwerk Voerde Hueck & Schade GmbH & Co. KG.

The Hueck Industrie Holding KG has invested in the Berndorf AG, based in Berndorf, Austria, and in the real estate business of the related plc, Berndorf Immobilien AG. The Hueck Industrie Holding KG possesses a participation certificate in both of these companies, allowing 10% of dividend assets (it receives dividends and is affected by changes in value, factors which however do not justify shareholders' rights).

The Hueck Industrie Holding KG has done so in the past and will continue in the future to develop and expand its position in the core sectors of aluminium, extrusion moulding, mechanical engineering and plant construction, technology and services by means of organic growth but also by promoting acquisitions.

Medium-sized enterprises, operating in niche markets, are permanently being sought out. The aim here is to offer such medium-sized companies, which are frequently owner-run, the assurance of continuity long after the active involvement of the company's founding fathers has ceased.
